Fitbit

I may have mentioned once or twice that I had a Fitbit Flex for Christmas. This little device is now permanently on my wrist and records how 'fit' I am.......The aim is 10,000 steps per day. I am averaging 8,000 at the moment.

It was lovely to see my son James and his fiancé for the weekend. This involved much eating, drinking and chatting!

Then we had a walk around the shops and showed James and Toni the new part of Hereford - The Old Market. They both live in Birmingham which of course boasts a brand new shopping centre at The Bull Ring. Hereford is very small compared to Birmingham, but they both agreed that the Old Market is tastetfully designed and deserves to do well. For those of you who have not been, below are three images of The Old Market. As you can see, it is a bustling, thriving place with many well known shops and restaurants.

Sunday lunch was eaten at Miller and Carter, Hereford. And very good it was too. Excellent service and food and drink - most enjoyable.

Jim and Toni in love!!

When I charged my Fitbit on Sunday, I was surprised to find that I had exceeded 10,000 steps, it was 11,302. So the incentive is to wear it every day and as I am a lover of charts, I can keep a record of how 'well' I am doing.  The best I have managed this week so far is 8962 steps. As I have mentioned in a previous blog, walking is cheaper than a gym and far more pleasurable in my opinion!

Have a good week everyone and see you next Saturday!
